About
For more than 10 years, I have draped my camera and strap around me ready to shoot. I arrived in the West Village in the mid-seventies, as a modern dancer, on scholarship with Merce Cunningham. I retired as a professional dancer and do not perform anymore, but I still live on the West Village stage. The elements of dance movement: time, shape, space, and effort — are all inherent in how I see the world. These familiar elements apply to my photography.
